OK, the scary samples are here.... but WHERE is the SONG?

Unknown said...

you mean the DOWNLOAD MP3 button?

or you mean you hate the song?

because the song is everywhere,
it's in the breeze,
rushing through with the coming of the first butterflies of spring

it comes first like a smell you can't reach
then becomes a stench you can't ignore

The problem with people vs "they" is people are lazy and most importantly ignorant. People believe with blind eyes. People ignore knowledge and except any summary (that is most often than not their own) and then turn their eyes and ears off to stay in their content little worlds. Never do people include themselves in a group unless it is a small organization out for one thing and they utilize that one thing to add to their individuality. To make themselves unique. This volcano will stay dormant until they can all find bonds and start looking at the world outside of their own. Binds of violence and wrath. But they fear they have more to lose than they, in reality, don't have at all. IE FREEDOM! Are we really free or is it an illusion? I think that it's a suppression. And the people want "them" to feed them more bullshit. "Feed me more so that I may stay content." But they'd rather be content than truly happy... I digress.

yes, but the thing that i am referring to is the question why. not why don't people listen, but why do they allow themselves to behave this way. people would not behave this way unless they are already trained and inhibited to see the people around them as inferior. this means they see themselves as superior to the people around them (but not to the way some other third party would summarize the people around them. it is not just a question of laziness. i believe it is a question of social and moral hierarchy.

"Never do people include themselves in a group unless it is a small organization out for one thing and they utilize that one thing to add to their individuality. To make themselves unique."

true most of the times, but when it comes to morality, we all happily include ourselves to the morality i described in episode 4, burden convictions. i don't believe it is wisse to disregard this sense of uniformity, as it is not different than adding yourself to any other group.

"This volcano will stay dormant until they can all find bonds and start looking at the world outside of their own. Binds of violence and wrath. But they fear they have more to lose than they, in reality, don't have at all. IE FREEDOM!"

that would be true, if the west was living in a vacuum. but it isn't. there are other outside catalysts and hidden catalysts (product of the burden convictions) for this eruption...well, that's all in episode 6.

"Are we really free or is it an illusion? I think that it's a suppression. And the people want "them" to feed them more bullshit. "Feed me more so that I may stay content." But they'd rather be content than truly happy... I digress."

we are free to do certain things. if we want to do something else, then we are not free...but i digress as well

OH... I see. Touche! :) Now I really can't wait for episode 6! BTW, I'm already working on a song in your example. Not regurgitating *spelling* but speaking my mind about this that I see as opposed to emotions that I'm currently dealing with. I think that it's clear enough in my songs that I'm already pissed... but instead of being pissed at someone I'll be pissed at something(s). Anyways. I'm gonna read your other responses. I hope that I've created good conversation.

yes, a very good convesation
i am very happy with it, and with the fact that i inspired you inthat sense. the rock and roll working class contents are fine, but the real great artworks in western history always were much more philosophical, and less personal.
full power to you!

Dear ptyl,
I am leaving this comment because I've had a strong need to thank you ever since I found out about you and your music.
I am one of those people that always looks at others from above to keep my pride and dignity. To make myself feel .. individual, original.. better than the rest. Because I don't like human nature, and how this "rest" behaves, even though I am no better. At one point I almost started believing I am god because I wanted to believe it. I am very selfish and I always end up drowning in self-loathing because I view myself as a monster. Denial is part of my every day routine. I don't exclude myself from the rest, I just always end up wishing we were different. Your art, your songs and many of your notes helped me realize and accept that we are the way we are, which brought me one step closer to being a better person towards everyone. Thank you again.
